I built this for my own businesses first. I'm Daniel. My ride service and my car wash run on these cards. Then I built a way for you to make one in a few steps, from your phone.

How we're different

Built for the business that runs from a phone, not a boardroom.

The big digital card apps now sell to corporate sales teams and trade shows. We build for the independent owner, the family business, the one-truck crew: people without a website, and without a software budget. Google shut down its free business websites in 2024.

Real cards

Tap one. This is what your customers get.

This is how each card shows up when its link is shared in a text. Ten trades, no two alike. The first two are live businesses; the other eight are examples — the businesses are invented, the cards are real, and each one built with the same questions you'll answer. Tap any of them.

No sound needed.

How it works

Answer a few questions. Share the link. It's free for as long as you want.

Have a paper card? Snap a photo and we fill in your name, number, email and website. You check it and you're done.

2

Share it the same day

Your card is real and live as soon as you save it. Text the link to a customer this afternoon and watch what comes back. Nothing to pay, and nothing expires.

From the people building them

“For the longest time I worked with frustrating apps and sites to build a business card. This site streamlines the building of the business card into easy steps. If you needed to update or edit any information the process is as easy as it gets to work with. The best result is the professional look you get and how easy it is to share. Plus until you make up your mind on subscribing longterm you don’t pay anything.”

What your customer sees

A page that looks like you, and one button that gets you the job.

The request form on a card: service choice, add-ons, vehicle size, address, date and time pickers, and a live estimate
  • Opens in any browser. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.
  • Your questions, asked for you. Service, size, address, date — whatever you need to quote. They fill it in; you get a tidy text.
  • Prices shown, or quote only. Show a menu with a live estimate, or keep prices off and quote by text.
  • Tap to call, tap to save. Your number is one tap away, and “Add to Contacts” puts you in their phone with your logo.
  • Looks right in a text thread. Share the link and it shows up as a branded preview card in iMessage.

What you get, free

Everything a paper card can't do.

It never runs outHand out the link a thousand times for what it costs to hand it out once. No reprints, no box in the truck, no “that was my last one” — and a customer can forward it to their neighbor, which paper never does.
Requests arrive as textsWith the customer's answers laid out. Nothing to log into, ever.
A QR code to shareTap your banner and it fills the screen, ready for a customer's camera.
Add to ContactsOne tap saves you in their phone, logo and all.
More Google reviewsAdd your Google link and a “Review us on Google” button sits on your card. Text your card when the job’s done, and one tap takes them to your Google page.
No photo? No logo? Fine.A banner for your trade is included, and your name is set in your colors.
Change it anytimeNew prices, new hours, new photos — edit it yourself, free, as often as you like.

Our promise

Six things you can hold us to.

  • Free means free. No time limit and no credit card. You build a real card, text the link to anybody, and the request button works. The free card sits at a longer web address and carries a small “built with” line; that’s the only difference until you choose to upgrade.
  • Your link never dies. If you ever stop paying for Pro, your card goes back to the free version at the same address. The QR code on your truck, the signs you printed and the link in every text keep working.
  • Live today. Your card is up the moment you save it — free, no waiting on us, no approval queue.
  • Change it yourself, free, forever. New prices, hours, photos — your edit link, your card, no charge.
  • No contract. Cancel any time by text or email; the card stays up through what you've paid for. Not happy in the first 7 days? Your money comes back.
  • We never see your card number or ask for a password. Payment happens on Square's checkout. Requests from your customers go straight to your phone — we don't read them, store them, or sell anything about them.

Questions

The ones we get asked.

Is the free one really free?
Yes, and there is no time limit. You build a real card, you get a link you can text to anybody, and the request button works. It sits at a longer web address instead of your name, and it carries a small line at the bottom saying it was built here. Keep it that way as long as you like.
What if I stop paying?
Your card does not disappear, and it keeps its address — the link you gave customers, the QR code on your truck and any signs you printed keep working, and it still takes requests. You can still edit it. It goes back to the free version: specials stop showing, the Monday numbers stop, it drops off Google, and a small "built with" line returns. Pay again any time and Pro comes back at the same address. Cancel anytime, and the first 7 days are refundable.
Do my customers need an app?
No. The card is a web page. It opens in whatever browser is on their phone, and the request goes out as a normal text message from their own phone.
What exactly happens when someone taps Request?
They answer your questions (service, address, date — whatever you set), tap Send, and their phone's texting app opens with the message already written to your number. They hit send. You get a text with everything laid out, and you reply like you would to any customer.
I don't have a website. Is this enough?
For most businesses that work by phone and text, yes. It's a link to give out, and it does the one thing a website is for: getting the customer to contact you. With Pro it gets your own name as the address and shows up on Google. If you already have a website, the card can link to it.
How does the AI assistant work?
It's an add-on for Pro cards. An "Ask a question" button sits on your card's banner. Customers ask things like "Do you come out to my town?" and get an answer drawn only from what's on your card. It never makes up a price or books a job; anything it can't answer, it sends to your request button. $25 buys 500 questions, renewing once a year beside Pro, and you can add more any time. Your Monday email shows how many are left, with an idea for a special each week. We don't keep what customers type.
I don't have a logo or good photos.
You don't need either. Pick your trade and a professional banner is included. Your business name is set in your colors instead of a logo. Add your own photos whenever you have them.
Can I show prices?
Your call. Show a menu with add-ons and a live estimate, or keep prices off and quote by text. You can switch later.
Can I run a sale or a discount?
Yes, on Pro. You type one line — “10% off your first cleanup” — pick the dates, and it shows on your card in a bright tag over your photo, then removes itself when the end date passes. It does not text anybody: nothing is sent to your customers, and nobody has to subscribe to anything. It works because your link is already out there — on your truck, on your QR stickers, in every text you’ve sent and every contact who saved you. Anyone who opens your card while the deal is on sees it.
Can I change it after it's live?
Yes, as often as you like, at no charge. You get an edit link; changes are live in seconds and your address and QR code never change.
Can I use my own domain name?
Not today. Every card lives at yourname.onetaprequest.app.
Who's behind this?
The company is Digital Builder Contractor (DBC), and the cards it makes are called One Tap Request, which is why every card's link ends in onetaprequest.app. It's a small business in Mountain House, California, run by Daniel Kaupie. He built the card for his own businesses first — the ride service and car wash above are his — and turned it into something anyone can set up. Text him at (209) 684-9396.

A few steps from now, you could be handing this out.
